cannot complain. Growing up in West Virginia I couldn't wait to get to Morgantown. Yes, the party scene is out there, but it's just like any other school, if you choose to party and not go to class, that's all on you so don't blame the school. There's a club for virtually everything. Upper level classes get harder but freshman year you can party 5 nights a week and still get a 4.0 but a lot of students spend too much time partying and fail out by their junior year. Attending football/basketball games are a one of a kind experience. ...Continue reading

WVU is amazing. I am in nursing school here, and while it is tough, I feel that I will be more than prepared for my licensure test when I graduate. I have fun all while earning a great education. I cannot speak for all majors, but the nursing program here is no joke. I love it here! :) ...Continue reading

Elisabeth is awesome! She is super knowledgeable about history and teaches it with a lot of passion. She treats you with respect and tailors the class around your needs. You learn a lot from her and she'll definitely go out of her way to make sure you understand things. It's hard to be an a bad mood in her class because she's always in a good one! ...Continue reading

She said she made the class tougher than the curriculum to benefit us as writers. When In fact, no matter what I wrote she always put me down with a chuckle after each comment. Once I started to make progress in her words I still got terrible grades on each paper. For the final portfolio I made the corrections she told me to make, got a 73. ...Continue reading

Among all of my professors, she is the best without any doubts. She does not bump you up with a lot of materials, though she smooths it and makes it understandable whatever your Spanish background is. Be ready to do loads of homework and participate in class. She genuinely cares of her students. I would recommend and have her for any Spanish class She's friendly and helpful. She shows you a lot of stuff to get a better idea of the Spanish culture. She speaks mostly Spanish and it may get tough sometimes. She gives a lot of homework but that's the only way you'll really learn the materials. If you miss more than 5 classes your grade will suffer. ...Continue reading

Fun class, but you need to go and take notes because all of the exams are based on your notes from lectures. You play a role playing game which is really fun and makes the class more interesting. The tests are kinda hard but doable if you study and he gives extra credit which is nice. He's a great teacher and a real nice guy in general. I'd definitely take more of his classes. Bonus that he's real cute ...Continue reading

She is very helpful and makes the class fun! would recommend 100% She is easy going but also demands respect, she's a great teacher and explains the material in ways you can understand. Super easy to talk to/reach. Would 100% recommend taking her class. Try really hard to understand the material at the beginning because the class builds as you go. She is so funny, always available, and you can tell she loves what she does. I love her and am so thankful I had her my freshman year. Do the review, study hard, go to class and you will be fine. ...Continue reading

This class was terrible! We spent most of our class discussing her political views and the 2016 presidential election. Meanwhile, students were working on our required 10 page research project but that became difficult when she asked us to stop working on our paper and listen to her ramble nonsense. Also, her grading policies are unclear! Her grading is so confusing, she would tell you what you did wrong but when you correct it, she will say you are stil wrong. ...Continue reading

Professor Jones is very relaxed. Usually, you will show up to class and do a group activity for about half an hour, and then class ends. Dr. Stojanovic was an awesome professor. She provides clear guidelines for grading and always gives helpful feedback. She returns assignments at light speed. Class was not always the most exciting, but all the exercises do help developing your writing as well as help you get an idea of what she's looking for. I don't recommend anyone taking chemistry classes at WVU, the professors aren't helpful!! She can sometimes be rude when you ask a question or leave early,& she focuses more on what the students are doing than teaching the lecture. HW assignments are insane, notes can be confusing. Thank God for my boyfriend knowing what he's doing, or I'd be totally lost. Exams are always difficult so you need to start studying earlier than the day before.
