LaurineTransferred out after a miserable first year. If you are not from New England or your parents are not incredibly wealthy you will find the people here snarky, phony and incredibly self centered. I have never met a group of kids so oblivious to real life and the actually hardships the rest of the nation goes through. Place is ridiculous. But, you will get a great job most like The campus is nice but gets old within a week or two. The scenery towards the water is stunning but the rest of the campus is quite dull. ...Continue reading

ErichGreat academics, however, it is a small school in a small town. Geneva is up and coming and has great restaurants, but a car is pretty necessary if you want to get places easily. Syracuse and Rochester are also about an hour away, which is nice if you have the time and a car to get there. DarianHobart is a school where you're reputation as a person will go a long way, being at such a small school people would rather assume what you are like rather than go out of the way and meet you yourself. And, on the particular, there is a big hate movement towards smithies, which is supposedly a population of airheads. If you challenge yourself with difficult courses you will get a strong education from committed and thoughtful professors in all subjects. VirgilSchool is fun mostly greek life and off campus house parties, the weather and food on the other hand will be disappointing. Only down side is the campus safety is really strict and shuts down frat parties all the time. When there arent frat parties to go to theres nothing to do. ...Continue reading
