Isotrehalose and neotrehalose are chemically similar to trehalose ( 25.58 and 25.59) except that neotrehalose is hydrolyzed only by b-glycosidase enzymes, whereas isotrehalose is hydrolyzed by both a- and b-glycosidase enzymes. What are the structures of isotrehalose and neotrehalose?
