Arithmetic Series Problem: A series has a partial sum S10 = (3 + (n 1)(5)) a. Write out the terms of the partial sum. How you can tell that the series is arithmetic? b. Evaluate S10 three ways: numerically, by adding the 10 terms; algebraically, by averaging the first and last terms and multiplying by the number of terms; and numerically, by storing the formula for tn in the y = menu and using your grapher program. Are the answers the same? c. Evaluate S100 for this series. Which method did you use?
