Let us consider the solid disc with diameter d= 60 cm, so the radius R=30 cm=0.3 m having kinetic energy KE= 0.250 J while rotating with angular speed = 45 rev/min. We need to calculate the moment of inertia of the given disc and in the second part we have to calculate the mass.

Given data,

   Radius  R=0.3 m

   KE= 0.250 J

   = 45 rev/min

Using  1 rev = 2rad         and 1 min= 60 sec

=  rad/sec

= 4.71 rad/sec
