Chapter 6, Problem 153

(choose chapter or problem)

For the following exercises, use Green’s theorem.

Evaluate line integral \(\int_{C} x e^{-2 x} d x+\left(x^{4}+2 x^{2} y^{2}\right) d y\), where C is the boundary of the region between circles \(x^{2}+y^{2}=1\) and \(x^{2}+y^{2}=4\), and is a positively oriented curve.

Text Transcription:

\int_{C} x e^{-2 x} d x+\left(x^{4}+2 x^{2} y^{2}\right) d y

x^{2}+y^{2}=1

x^{2}+y^{2}=4
