If the ball has a weight of 15 lb and is thrown onto a rough surface so that its center has a velocity of 6 ft/s parallel to the surface, determine the amount of backspin. to. the ball must be given so that it stops spinning at the same instant that its forward velocity is zero. It is not necessary to know the coefficient of kinetic friction at A for the calculation.
