Static pressure P is measured at two locations along the wall of a laminar boundary layer (Fig. P10-90). The measured pressures are P1, and P2, and the distance between the taps is small compared to the characteristic body dimension (Δx = x 2 -.x 1 ≪ L). The outer flow velocity above the boundary layer at point 1 is U 1. The fluid density and viscosity are ρ and μ, respectively. Generate an approximate expression for U 2, the outer flow velocity above the boundary layer at point 2, in terms of P1, P2, Δx, U 1, ρ, and μ.FIGURE P10-90
