Assuming that the magnitudes of the forces applied to disks A andC of Prob. 8.15 are, respectively, P1 5 1080 lb and P2 5 810 lb,and using the expressions given in Prob. 8.21, determine the valuesof tH and tK in a section (a) just to the left of B, (b) just to theleft of C.
