A linear model of the \(\alpha\)-subsystem of a grid connected voltage-source converter (VSC) with a Y-Y transformer (Mahmood, 2012) was presented in Problem 69, Chapter 8. In Figure P8.20(b), \(G_C(s)\) = K and \(G_P(s)\) is given in a pole zero form (with a unity gain and slightly modified parameters) as follows:

\(G_P(s)\) = \(\frac{V_a(s)}{M_a(s)}\) = \(\frac{(s+2200)}{(s+220)\left(s^2+120 s+16 \times 10^{6)}\right.}\)

Use MATLAB and frequency response techniques to obtain the Bode plots for this system and find the following:

a. The range of K for system stability

b. The gain margin, phase margin, zero dB frequency, and \(180^{\circ}\) frequency, if K = \(5 \times 10^5\).
