Solved: General relative growth rates Define the relative

Chapter 6, Problem 46

(choose chapter or problem)

General relative growth rates Define the relative growth rate of the function f over the time interval T to be the relative change in f over an interval of length T: RT = f 1t + T2 - f 1t2 f 1t2 . Show that for the exponential function y1t2 = y0ekt, the relative growth rate RT is constant for any T; that is, choose any T and show that RT is constant for all t.
