Consider the boundary-value problem y(0) = 1, y(1) = 1.5.

Chapter 9, Problem 14E

(choose chapter or problem)

Consider the boundary-value problem \(y^{\prime \prime}=y^{\prime}-\sin (x y)\), y(0) = 1, y(1)  = 1.5. Use the shooting method to approximate the solution of this problem. (The approximation can be obtained using a numerical technique—say, the RK4 method with h = 0.1; or, even better, if you have access to a CAS such as Mathematica or Maple, the NDSolve function can be used.)
