Suppose y(t) is complex-valued and write y(t) = yre(t) + iyim(t) where yre(t) and yim(t) are the real and imaginary parts of y(t) respectively. Show that L[yre] is the real part of L[y] and L[yim] is the imaginary part of L[y].
