There is a relationship between the Heaviside function

Chapter , Problem 7

(choose chapter or problem)

There is a relationship between the Heaviside function ua(t) and the Dirac delta function a(t) that can be observed from their Laplace transforms. (a) Show that, for a > 0, L[a] = sL[ua] ua(0). (b) What relationship does this suggest between ua(t) and a(t)? (c) Is there any way we could understand this relationship in terms of everyday calculus (without Laplace transforms)?
