Otto, Diesel, and Dual Cycles At the beginning

Chapter 9, Problem 41P

(choose chapter or problem)

At the beginning of the compression process in an air-standard dual cycle, \(p_1=1 \mathrm{bar}\) and \(T_1=300 \mathrm{~K}\). The total heat addition is \(1000 \mathrm{~kJ} / \mathrm{kg}\). Plot the net work per unit of mass, in \(\mathrm{kJ} / \mathrm{kg}\), the mean effective pressure, in bar, and the thermal efficiency versus compression ratio for different fractions of constant volume and constant pressure heat addition. Consider compression ratio ranging from 10 to 20.
