Compressible Flow For the isentropic flow of an ideal gas

Chapter 9, Problem 120P

(choose chapter or problem)

For the isentropic flow of an ideal gas with constant specific heat ratio k, the ratio of the temperature \(T *\) to the stagnation temperature \(T_{\mathrm{o}}\) is \(T^{*} / T_{\mathrm{o}}=2 /(k+1)\). Develop this relationship.
