Chapter , Problem 11.53

(choose chapter or problem)

Consider the equation

                                                          \(s^3 + 10s^2 + 24s + K = 0\)

a. Use MATLAB to obtain the value of K required to give dominant roots with \(\zeta= 0.707\). Obtain the three roots corresponding to this value of K.

b. Use MATLAB to obtain the value of K required to give a dominant time constant of \(\tau= ⅔\). Obtain the three roots corresponding to this value of K.
