Here we randomly assigned different level of assistance on homework to the students -

completed solutions, check figures and no solutions and measure the knowledge gain by

test scores, for the three groups.

We have to test the following null and alternative hypotheses.

 : The knowledge gained by all the three groups is same.

Versus

 : The knowledge gained by at least two of the three groups is different
