Before the advent of cable television and satellite dishes, homeowners either mounted a television antenna on the roof or used rabbit ears atop their sets. (See Fig. CQ21.1.) Certain orientations of the receiving antenna on a television set gave better reception than others. Furthermore, the best orientation varied from station to station. Explain.
