The following data points show the flow rate versus measured pressure drop of a liquid in a venturi flowmeter: I::..P (psi) Q(CFM) 0.05 2.00 0.07 2.35 0.09 2.70 0.12 3.12 0.15 0.17 0.19 3.50 3.72 3.85 0.21 4.10 0.23 4.35 0.25 4.45 Let Q = Constant X (.<1P) 112, plot Q as a function of .<1P, and plot 10g(Q) as a function of log (.<1P). Observe the form of both curves, and determine the following quantities: (a) Coefficients of linear regression. (b) Standard error of estimate. (c) Coefficient of determination. (d) Any of the data points that are outliers. Compare the results for both cases and comment on them.
