An orifice meter with corner taps in a nominaI4-in.-diameter pipe (actual diameter 4.026 in.) is used to measure the flow rate of air. The diameter of the orifice is 2 in. At the upstream section, the temperature is 100F and the pressure is 150 psia. The pressure difference across the orifice is 6 psi. Estimate the mass flow rate of the air. 'Y for air is 1.4.
