(choose chapter or problem)

A differential pressure system is used to measure the level of the liquid in a tank. The sensing line to the top of the tank is filled with cold water having a density of 990 kglm3. When the level is at the bottom of the tank, the transducer reads -58.8 kPa (upper sensing line connection at a higher pressure than the lower sensing line connection). What is the level in the tank (relative to the tank bottom) when the transducer reads -10 kPa if the fluid in the tank has a density of 978 kglm3?
