In the United States, among the Caucasian population, cystic fibrosis is a serious genetic disease. For cystic fibrosis, the normal allele is dominant to the mutant allele. Suppose that, in a certain region of the country, 5.29% of the people have cystic fibrosis. Under the Hardy-Weinberg conditions, determine the percentage of people in that region who carry at least one mutant allele of the disease.
