Sociologists Joseph Kahl and Dennis Gilbert developed a six-tier model to portray the class structure of the United States. The bar graph gives the percentage of Americans who are members of each of the six social classes.

Write each statement in symbolic form. Then use the information given by the graph to determine the truth value of each compound statement.

Fifteen percent are capitalists or it is not true that 34% are members of the upper-middle class, if and only if the number of working poor exceeds the number belonging to the working class.
