Chapter 5, Problem 39

(choose chapter or problem)

Using the Cross Product In Exercises 35 - 42, find a unit vector orthogonal to both u and v.

\(\mathbf{u}=-3 \mathbf{i}+2 \mathbf{j}-5 \mathbf{k}\)

\(\mathbf{v}=\frac{1}{2} \mathbf{i}-\frac{3}{4} \mathbf{j}+\frac{1}{10} \mathbf{k}\)

Text Transcription:

u = -3i + 2j - 5k

v = 1 / 2 i - 3 / 4 j + 1 / 10 k
