Two hundred kg/min of steam enters a steam turbine at 350C and 40 bar through a 7.5-cm diameter line and exits at 75C and 6.5 bar through a 5-cm line. The exiting stream may be vapor, liquid, or wet steam (see 7.36). (a) If the exiting stream were wet steam at 6.5 bar, what would its temperature be? (b) How much energy is transferred to or from the turbine? (Neglect E_ p but not E_ k.)
