Chapter 20, Problem 20-17

(choose chapter or problem)

The truncated double cone rotates about the z axis at \(\omega_{z} = 0.4 \ rad/s\) without slipping on the horizontal plane. If at this same instant \(\omega_{z}\) is increasing at \(\dot{\omega}_{z}=0.5 \ \mathrm{rad} / \mathrm{s}^{2}\), determine the velocity and acceleration of point A on the cone.
