Chapter 21, Problem 21-44

(choose chapter or problem)

The uniform plate has a mass of m = 2 kg and is given a rotation of \(\omega=4 \ \mathrm{rad} / \mathrm{s}\) about its bearings at A and B. If a = 0.2 m and c = 0.3 m, determine the vertical reactions at the instant shown. Use the x, y, z axes shown and note that \(I_{z x}=-\left(\frac{m a c}{12}\right)\left(\frac{c^{2}-a^{2}}{c^{2}+a^{2}}\right)\).
