In the gas phase, nitrogen dioxide is actually a mixture

Chapter 15, Problem 104AP

(choose chapter or problem)

In the gas phase, nitrogen dioxide is actually a mixture of nitrogen dioxide \(\left(\mathrm{NO}_{2}\right)\) and dinitrogen tetroxide (N2O4). If the density of such a mixture is 2.3 g/L at 74°C and 1.3 atm, calculate the partial pressures of the gases and \(K_{P}\) for the dissociation of \(\mathrm{N}_{2} \mathrm{O}_{6}\).
