To help determine whether gallinules selected their mate on the basis of weight, 14 pairs of gallinules were captured and weighed. Test the null hypothesis H0: = 0 against a two-sided alternative at an = 0.01 significance level. Given that the male and female weights for the n = 14 pairs of birds yielded a sample correlation coefficient of r = 0.252, would H0 be rejected?
