Referring to the circuit of Fig. 5.71: (a) Determine the Norton equivalent of the circuit by first finding \(V_{oc}\) and \(I_{sc}\) (defined as flowing into the positive reference terminal of \(V_{oc}\)). (b) Connect a \(1.7\ k \Omega\) resistor to the open terminals of your new network and calculate the power supplied to that resistor.
