(c) Multiplying all the independent sources in a circuit by the same scaling factor results in all other voltages and currents being scaled by the same amount. Explain why we don’t scale the dependent sources as well. (d) In a general circuit, if we set an independent voltage source to zero, what current can flow through it? (e) In a general circuit, if we set an independent current source to zero, what voltage can be sustained across its terminals?
