Let a = (a1, a2, a3) and b = (b1, b2, b3) be two nonzero vectors such that b = ka. Use vectors to describe the set of points inside the parallelogram with vertex P0(x0, y0,z0) and whose adjacent sides are parallel to a and b and have the same lengths as a and b. (See Figure 1.17.) (Hint: If P(x, y,z) is a point in the parallelogram, describe O P, the position vector of P.)
