(a) Let x0 = (0, 0), x1 = 1 4 , 1 16 , x2 = 1 2 , 1 4 , x3 = 3 4 , 9 16 , x4 = (1, 1). Use the trapezoidal rule formula (7) and these points to approximate the line integral. (b) Now calculate the exact value of the line integral and compare your results.
