Write a discrete-event simulation program to simulate the M/M/2 heterogeneousqueuing system with 2 = 0.25, = 0.2, and varied as in Table 8.5. In orderto estimate the steady-state response times E[R1], E[R2], and E[R] as defined inTable 8.5, you have to execute three different simulations (two for an M/M/1queue and one for the M/M/2 case), discard the statistics corresponding to initialtransients, and then collect the steady-state values. The attainment of the steadystate is determined by experimentation. For statistical analysis of outputs, seeChapter 10 of this book.
