To increase the linearity of the class AB output stage, the quiescent current IQ is increased. The price paid is an increase in quiescent power dissipation. For the output stage considered in Example 12.3: (a) Find the quiescent power dissipation. (b) If IQ is increased to 10 mA, find vo/vi at vO = 0 and at vO = 10 V, and hence the percentage change. Compare to the case in Example 12.3. (c) Find the quiescent power dissipation for the case in (b).
