It is required to find an expression for the output resistance Rout of the class AB output stage in Fig. P12.26. Toward that end, neglect the small-signal resistance of each of D1 and D2 and assume the current source supplying IBIAS has an output resistance RBIAS. Transistors QN and QP are equivalent to a single transistor with r = rN rP, re = reN reP, and gm = gmN +gmP.
