Assume that the oscillator of Fig. 18.3(a) is designed for a loop-gain magnitude greater than unity so that the amplitude of oscillations grows to the point that the op-amp output saturates. Assume that the saturation levels of the op amp are 2 V and that the signal at the output of the op amp is nearly a square wave. If the bandpass LCR circuit is of sufficiently high selectivity, what is the amplitude of the sine wave across the LC circuit? (Hint: The fundamental frequency component in the Fourier series expansion of a square wave of amplitude V has an amplitude 4V/.)
