Seeding the Galaxy. If interstellar travel is forever impractical,are there other ways an advanced civilization might spread itsculture? Clearly, communication is possible, although the speedof light makes conversations between star systems maddeninglytedious. Could a society send the information requiredto assemble members of its species (its DNA, for instance)and therefore spread through the galaxy at the speed of light?Can you imagine other ways of spreading a culture withoutstarships? Explain.
