Velocity A ball is thrown vertically upward from the ground at a velocity of 64 ft per second. Its distance from the ground at t seconds is given by s(t) = −16t2 + 64t.

a. How fast is the ball moving 2 seconds after being thrown? 3 seconds after being thrown?

b. How long after the ball is thrown does it reach its maximum height?

c. How high will it go?
