A ballerina begins a tour jet (Fig. 11-19a) with angular speed and a rotational inertia consisting of two parts: I u 90.0 leg 1.44 kgm2vi for her leg extended outward at angle u 90.0 l to her body and Itrunk 0.660 kgm2I for the rest of her body (primarily her trunk). Near her maximum height she holds both legs at angle to her body and has angular speed (Fig. 11-19b). Assuming that has not changed, what is the ratio ?
