Chapter 8, Problem 53

(choose chapter or problem)

In Problems 53 and 54, write the system in the form AX = B. Use \(X = A^{-1}B\) to solve the system for each matrix B.

\(\begin{array}{l} 7 x_{1}-2 x_{2}=b_{1} \\ 3 x_{1}-2 x_{2}=b_{2} \end{array}\)

\(\mathbf{B}=\left(\begin{array}{l} 5 \\ 4 \end{array}\right), \quad \mathbf{B}=\left(\begin{array}{l} 10 \\ 50 \end{array}\right), \quad \mathbf{B}=\left(\begin{array}{r} 0 \\ -20 \end{array}\right)\)
