Chapter 8, Problem 54

(choose chapter or problem)

In Problems 53 and 54, write the system in the form AX = B. Use \(X = A^{-1}B\) to solve the system for each matrix B.

\(\begin{aligned} x_{1}+2 x_{2}+5 x_{3} &=b_{1} \\ 2 x_{1}+3 x_{2}+8 x_{3} &=b_{2} \\ -x_{1}+x_{2}+2 x_{3} &=b_{3} \end{aligned}\),

\(\mathbf{B}=\left(\begin{array}{r} -1 \\ 4 \\ 6 \end{array}\right), \quad \mathbf{B}=\left(\begin{array}{l} 3 \\ 3 \\ 3 \end{array}\right), \quad \mathbf{B}=\left(\begin{array}{r} 0 \\ -5 \\ 4 \end{array}\right)\)
