If the critical point (0, 0) of the linear system \(\mathbf{X}^{\prime}=\mathbf{A} \mathbf{X}\) is a saddle point and X=X(t) is a solution, then \(\lim _{t \rightarrow \infty} \mathbf{X}(t)\) does not exist.
