Use the Schwarz–Christoffel formula to construct a conformal mapping from the upper half-plane \(y \geq 0\) to the horizontal strip \(0 \leq v \leq \pi) by first approximating the strip by the polygonal region shown in FIGURE 20.4.14. Require that \(f(-1)=\pi i\), \(f(0)=w_{2}=-\bar{w}_{1}), and \(f(1)=0\), and let \(w_{1} \rightarrow \infty) in the horizontal direction.
