Use the conformal mapping C-1 in Appendix IV to find the potential \(\phi\) in the region outside the two circles \(|z|=1\) and \(|z-3|=1\) if the potential is kept at zero on \(|z|=1) and one on \(|z-3|=1\). Use the mapping properties of linear fractional transformations to explain why the equipotential lines are, with one exception, circles.
