The coordinates of any point in the coordinate plane can be written as A(r cos a, r sin a) when a is the measure of the angle between the positive ray of the x-axis and and r 5 OA. Under a rotation of u about the origin, the coordinates of A9, the image of A, are (r cos (a 1 u), r sin (a 1 u)). Find the coordinates of A9, the image of A(6, 8), under a rotation of 45 about the origin.
