Here, we are going to calculate the Kc for the reaction.

Step 1:

Given that,

2NO(g) + 2H2(g) N2(g) + 2H2O(g), Kc = 6.5 × 102

And, = 6.5 × 102 ---(1)

Now, for the reaction (a) KC1 would be

NO(g) + H2 (g) N2(g) + H2O

-----(2)

Now, squaring the equation (2) by 2 we get

Hence, Dividing the equation (1) by (3) we get,

= 25.5

Therefore, the KC1 for the reaction (a) is 25.5
