Chapter 3, Problem 132

(choose chapter or problem)

Finding a Pattern In Exercises 131 and 132, find the derivatives of the function f for \(n=1,2,3, \text { and } 4\). Use the results to write a general rule for \(f^{\prime}(x)\) in terms of n.

\(f(x)=\frac{\cos x}{x^{n}}\)

Text Transcription:

n=1,2,3, and 4

f^prime(x)

f(x)=cos x/x^n
