Step 2 For sucrose molecule the following steps should be taken to solve : C12H22O11 %C=(12)(12.0 amu)/342.0 amu*100%=42 %. %H=(22)(1.008 amu)/342.0 amu*100%=6.4%. %O=(11)(16.0 amu)/342.0 amu*100%=51.5%.
